Terms of Service

Nanny Childcare Zürich provides childcare placement services connecting families with qualified nannies and childcare providers in the greater Zürich area. Our services include: • Full-time and part-time nanny placement • Babysitting services • After-school care arrangements • Emergency childcare • Specialized childcare (newborn care, special needs support) We act as an intermediary between families and childcare providers. While we thoroughly vet all nannies in our network, the employment relationship is between the family and the nanny.

To use our services, you must: • Be at least 18 years of age • Be legally able to enter into binding contracts • Provide accurate and complete information • Be a resident of Switzerland or have valid work authorization for employing household staff

When you create an account with us, you agree to: • Provide accurate, current, and complete information • Maintain and promptly update your account information • Maintain the security of your password and account • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Our fee structure is as follows: • Placement fees are charged upon successful placement of a nanny • Consultation fees may apply for initial assessments • All fees are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) • Payment terms are specified in individual service agreements • Refund policies are outlined in your service agreement Fees do not include the nanny's salary, social insurance contributions, or other employment-related costs, which are the responsibility of the employing family.

We take extensive measures to vet all nannies in our network, including: • Background checks and reference verification • Verification of qualifications and certifications • Personal interviews • First aid certification verification • Swiss work authorization verification However, families are responsible for conducting their own due diligence and making final hiring decisions.

Important notice regarding employment: • Nanny Childcare Zürich is NOT the employer of the nannies • The employment relationship is between the family and the nanny • Families are responsible for employment contracts, payroll, social insurance, and tax obligations • We can provide guidance on Swiss employment law but recommend consulting with HR specialists • Trial periods and termination terms should be agreed upon between family and nanny

Limitation of liability: • We provide placement services only; we are not liable for a nanny's performance • We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from childcare services • Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for our services • We recommend families maintain appropriate household and liability insurance • Nannies in our network carry their own professional liability insurance

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding: • Family information and requirements • Children's details and special needs • Nanny personal information • Placement arrangements and terms We will not share your information with third parties except as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.

We offer a replacement guarantee under the following conditions: • If a placement doesn't work out within the first 3 months • Valid reasons include mutual incompatibility or nanny resignation • One replacement search at no additional placement fee • Terms and conditions apply as specified in your service agreement

Either party may terminate the service agreement: • With written notice as specified in the agreement • Immediately in case of material breach • Subject to payment of any outstanding fees Upon termination, your obligations under these terms continue to the extent they relate to actions taken before termination.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Zürich, Switzerland.
